“I have been flying RC and building scratch built planes since I was 12 years old. Flying RC is one of my favorite hobbies and is something that I try to make time for several times per month. My main concern with remote ID is that I live in a rural area with a weak cell signal, and I mostly fly on my property. I don’t want to be limited by where I can fly when I own an open pasture in front of my house. Also, I take it that it requires a cell signal to make remote ID work. If this is the case, all the places that I fly will be off-limits because I have bad reception on my property and no reception at a nearby state park that I occasionally fly at.”
