“It’s a great hobby. No danger to anyone with simple and reasonable precautions. We do NOT need nor do we want this kind of Draconian/Orwellian interference and mandates in our lives. The FAA already interferes too much. There is zero safety gain in the proposed regs, there is only “control from below” with zero benefit to anyone. Further, the proposed “require component traceability” is ludicrous, and it has worked so well in alloing GA aircraft to advance and now the FAA wants to shove that policy down our throats. Lastly, IMO, the FAA does not have the legal (or moral) authority to mandate the proposed restrictions that will strangle jobs, fun, and the industry.”
