“I have been flying for over 12 year now, since I was a young boy. The hobby has led to an intense passion for aviation and electronics and led to me completing tertiary education and working for a large multinational defense contractor. Without the enjoyment and community I have gained from this hobby I may not have been able to survive the lowest point of my depression either. I could not imagine my life without being able to design, build and fly model aircraft.”
