“the proposed regulations are not necessary as there have not been any serious injuries or deaths due to the mismanagement of normal RC flying parameters and where accidental injuries did occur….the proposed regulations would not have prevented these type infrequent accidents. Secondly, ‘pilots’ who plan to fly outside of the current regulations and norms…will do so regardless of any new restrictions implemented…just as bad guys dob’t register their guns. Existing RC aircraft and drones will continue to fly and only new engineered models could be made under the proposed restrictions. Lastly, ask the FCC how CB radio license regulations worked out? See my point.”
