“As a retired military officer and educator I firmly believe the FAA restrictions will for all practical purposes completely restrict and bring an ultimate halt to the hobby of RC flying. Many RC modeling manufacturers would be so negatively affected many would most likely stop production. I have written my congressional represetatives as well as the FAA. Our RC club and flying field is Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) santioned and all all of our members belong to the AMA fly model airplanes not multi rotor drones. We fly at only sanctioned AMA flying sites. To lump scale modeling of fixed wing aircraft of all types as drones has not been logically researched or thought out by the FAA.”
