“Flying full size and model aircraft has been in my family for 3 generations. The proposed legislation would effectively kill a great hobby that I, my father, cousins, uncles, and grandfather have greatly enjoyed for years upon years. My family has been in model aviation since before the FAA was even in existence. If the proposed legislation were to actually come into being it would take away any chance of my future children to enjoy this great hobby as well as kids out on all of the fun and learning experiences they would get with their extended family as well as hinder their knowledge of flight and other related STEM learning experiences that come from the hobby. This would be detrimental to future generations and would stagnate the growth and innovation in many fields that benefit from the knowledge gained with model aviation.”
