“Flying small, model aircraft matters to me because it is a cheaper form of flight as opposed to getting a pilot’s license. Flying model aircraft is also a small foot in the door to what I want to do when I grow up. It helps me learn about Aerospace Engineering and the prospect of having to deal with engineering challenges when I decide to build my own plane. If these regulations started up, my mother and father would probably discontinue their financial support and I would be relatively grounded for a long time with my planes. Flying matters because it gave me more than I could have ever imagined.”
