“Flying is the number one activity that my son and I share. It allows us to spend time and bond with each other in ways no other activity does. It has also stimulated his interest in learning technical skills when we build our drones together, from soldering and mechanical construction to computer based tuning and parts design with cad type programs for 3D printing. Our hobby has given him the drive to get outside and enjoy more than video games and tv. He has grown tremendously as person from going to local events and meeting people, allowing him to overcome his shyness. If our hobby becomes as restricted as it potentially could be under these new regulations then a big part of my son’s and my life will be taken away”
