“First off, I’m 49 years old and have been in the hobby for a little over 2 years. I have enjoyed every minute I have spent learning to fly. Flying is an escape from reality for me. When I’ve got a plane or chopper it the air, all of the days stresses and burdens get washed away. At a very young age I was always interested in the hobby but when I was young my parents couldn’t afford it and as a young adult I got married and had kids and couldn’t afford it. Now that I’m older I can afford and have enjoyed every minute of it. I would someday in the near future love to be able to introduce my grandkids to the hobby and watch them learn and grow in the hobby as well. With the upcoming proposed rules and regulations, I’m afraid that this might not be possible. I very sincerely hope that this is not so.”
