“I’ve wanted to be a pilot since i was a kid. Went a different path in life so this is the way i get my joy of flight. We all love aviation and some of us can’t afford to actually fly full scale and would never do anything to hurt full scale aviation. The model community has been flying safely for a lot longer than i’ve been around and it really feels that now that commercial companies want to use the airspace they are paying to “move us out” by expressing safety concerns. I don’t like the idea that i wouldn’t be able to fly at my dads farm out in the middle of nowhere where i’ve been safely flying for 10 years without incident just because i don’t have remote ID.”
