“Flying is in my blood. But since flying real airplanes is super costly flying FPV is the next best thing. It is an outlet for having fun but its also very educational. I teach a lot of kids about our surrounding environments that I often get footage of and they are amazed at the world-changing views I show them. It gives perspectives that we usually do not have with our eyes glued to our phone or tablet. I feel like those perspectives give me a better appreciation for life and the wonderful, fragile world we live in. I have also been able to use my drone to help the forest service and their partners assess areas impacted by fires and floods to make real life decisions that will impact those areas for years to come.”
