“I am 15 years old, and have been flying model airplanes for well over a year now. I had originally learned to fly myself, and had gained experience from there. I hope to use the knowledge and experiences I’ve had so far to further the development of my life and accomplish my goals of becoming a pilot. Model aviation is what gave me the enthusiasm I have now about all facets of aviation in general. My concern with the new law proposed by the FAA is that it will discourage others like me and hurt a lot of other people who either are aviators or are interested in aviation.”
