“The hobby has a long history of supporting science and education for young and old. I didn’t start in this hobby until late in life due to the high financial cost when I was young. While the hobby is much more accessible in terms of cost these days, regulations requiring remote ID will push this hobby out of reasonable cost for young people and those with lower incomes.”
