“it seems as if FAA is looking for a problem to a solution. I’d be more comfortable with sharing data etc if the announcing protocols etc were free and open source. But mandating that I have to pay through proprietary services seems very much a money grab for some hand selected companies in the industry who gain to profit greatly simply because they are chosen and not because the technology is expensive etc.”
