“The vast majority of my flights are done at an AMA field doing FPV racing. We stay low, below the trees and take safety at the field very seriously. We pose no risk to manned aviation. While I mostly fly at an AMA field, I also fly at parks, at events at non AMA fields and even fly occasional DJI camera platforms for video and photo purposes. Safety is always a top concern with any flight, and in addition to the restrictions on me personally with these proposed regulations, I’m also extremely concerned about what it means for the long term growth of the hobby and the loss of inspiration for America’s youth as they will have fewer opportunities to learn STEM through aviation, and it will stunt the development of our future generations.”
