“I’m retired firefighter that has just started in the hobby (approx. 3 years). The hobby has allowed me to develop new skills increase my eye hand coordination and most significantly kept me out of my wife’s hair. Living on the wet side of Washington state you can only do so much fishing before you’re soaked to the skin eight months of the year. Flying building and repairing the inevitable crash damage is something that keeps me busy year round. Flying has taught this old dog new tricks stimulating a desire to learn new skills, methodologies and the use of new materials.”
