“Where is the risk analysis demonstrating there is a need for these new regulations? Will regulations requiring publicly accessible remote ID of pilots be equally applicable to manned aviation (hot air balloons drifting over my house at low altitude, helicopters, glider planes, light aircraft, ultralights, paragliders, hang-gliders, etc)?? Other than the constantly over-hyped “perceived” risk of “drones” intruding into manned airspace, what is the *actual* level of risk? How will imposing these onerous new regulations across the entire hobby industry affect or prevent the risk of anyone intent on causing mischief if that person refuses to fit their RPAS with remote ID equipment?”
