“My main concern is the impact this will have on education and the restriction of a hobby for comercial gain for a minority (eg. Commercialization of the 0 – 400ft airspace). There is currently no arguement for these new restriction when viewed from a safety perspective. If the FAA would like to comercialise addition airspace why don’t they utilise the 400 – 600 airspace, as the lower airspace used by planes is rarely used. If the FAAs arguement for these restrictions is safety, then why don’t they undertake research to determine what the actual safety issues are. At the moment they are using perceived safety issues as opposed to actual safety concerns.”
