“Since I was very young flying model aircraft here at home has been an enjoyable part of my life. It’s how I spend my leisure time, both with my children and neighbors. I have around 100 acres here that I fly on and have no need for a flying club. Most of my models are small foam board creations not capable of carrying additional weight. The new regulations as they are written will ground all of my models. As well, significant expensive will be involved in trying to comply with those models that I have which are large enough to carry more equipment. I ask the FAA please reconsider these regulations as they are written. Please consider the impact more carefully on the average flying model hobbyist. For some, this will most certainly end the hobby. Thank You, William Mallett”
