“Flying matters to me as not only a great hobby that incorporates science and technology but also hand-eye coordination. It allows me to engage in the wonderment that is flight and to see our world from a new angle. It’s fun and a great way to get outside and enjoy our surroundings. Also, showing others that with a little hard work and determination anyone can enjoy the gift of flight. It opens up our minds to possibilities and builds self-confidence. Some of my greatest moments are sharing my hobbies with others, especially children. To have them help me on the sticks and see them controlling an aircraft which gives them not only joy but the belief they can do anything they want to is one of this hobby’s best gifts.”
