“Enjoying the recreational sport, recently learned my property is on the outskirts of an airport so I change my flight planning to comply with LAANC. I enjoy the great freedom when flying a small drone. I am concerned about the new rules that are being passed soon. These rules will make it more difficult for the small hobbyist like myself. But I do believe that some of them are necessary for safety and national security. The best thing that will come from this is more aware of this among the public about what recreational and commercial drone pilots actually do to fly safely.”
