“I fly with my three sons. We build and fly scratch built aircraft as part of our Homeschool STEM program. Experimentation and innovation is key to learning. We also live in an RV and move frequently. Our flying fields change constantly. We really fly at the same location more than two times. Without the ability to fly our scratch built planes in unpopulated areas our STEM program could not continue. My boys are young and at this time they all want to go into the aerospace industry. I fear that will change if the FAA legislation makes them a criminal for flying a foam board airplane over unpopulated public land or friends and family property.”
