“I grew up with model aviation. I have been involve with aviation since childhood. I am active flying model airplanes and am now passing this hobby down to my son. We love to go out and fly our models together. I have been flying model aircraft for 30+ years. I love this hobby, it is one of my passions. This hobby has introduced a path to my full time profession. I am a Boeing 747 Captain for Atlas Air. I fly from continent to continent and around the world. When I am on my layovers, I am always drawing up parts to be 3D printed or laser cut for my scratched built airplanes. When I am home, I do some building and a lot of flying with my son. I will be very burdensome if we have to comply with all the FAA new imposed rules. These rules will shatter many peoples dreams and have a huge impact as many people start aviation with models.”
