“I am 62 years old and have been building and flying model airplanes most of my life starting with balsa stick and tissue models when I was six years old. The skills acquired from the hobby helped lead me into my career of mechanical and electronic design of spacecraft and defense equipment. It’s been very rewarding helping young people getting started in the model aviation hobby. I’m sad it has to come to an end due to over regulation and government over reaction.”
