“I am an Engineer, maker, tinkerer, and FPV pilot. I fly for recreation and a good flying session reduces my stress. I understand the need to put regulations on commercial aircraft but I feel like the restrictions as they are should not apply to amateur aircraft. If the regulations are passed as they are all the places I fly in will be banned and that includes my own back yard. I am also concerned about having a remote ID device on aircraft over 250 grams and the extra fees that will cost the pilots. My suggestion is to keep the LAANC system for recreational use and implement remote ID for commercial use.”
