“About 10 years ago I had a triple spine fusion surgery, this led to me having to give up all of my hobbies, snowboarding, waterskiing, wakeboarding, mountain biking and golf. I was in a very dark place until I saw a video of Jonathan Davis (Skitzo) flying in a freestyle FPV competition, I knew instantly this was what I wanted to do and learned everything I could. About 3 years ago I started a local club we have 20 or so regular flyers of all abilities, one of our members even represented the UK in the BDRA team in South Korea. I’m now a full time carer for my disabled partner, and flying FPV is everything to me, my escape, my only social life, and the way I keep my mind alive.”
