“I’m in high school and don’t have very much money to spend, so being able to build and fly airplanes for $20 each is just amazing. I fly at a school soccer field, which if the regulations pass, I will either have to put trackers on all my planes, or drive at least an hour away to the closest AMA field. I have a fleet of 5-10 planes, and I’m always building new ones when my old ones crash, so having to have a tracker on each and every plane isn’t feasible for me and my budget. Also, it feels like a violation to my privacy since I am being tracked all the time while I fly. I want to keep people getting into the hobby and enjoying it myself, but I’m afraid these new regulations will prevent me from doing so.”
