“I was in a really bad motorcycle accident 2 years ago. I was in an extremely bad place. My friend introduced me to fpv and it set me free. I couldn’t move around much but my thumbs worked just fine. Fpv allowed me to soar above the trees. It occupied my time while my body healed and fpv healed my mind. IFly daily now. It’s been a year-and-a-half pure joy. And the thought of it being taken away scares the hell out of me. What am I going to do without my aerial meditation? I try to be as safe as possible with it and never fly around soft targets or anything that I could damage. Believe it or not I do try to fly responsibly. To put such restrictions on a hobbyist is insane. I I could see why you would want to do it with companies that are making money off of commercial jobs. That’s like telling people that have RC cars they need to get a driver’s license and have to call in every time they turn their RC car on.”
