“I started building models at 7 years old. Built my first free flight ant 10 years U control by 15. RC by 20. The hobby has allowed/ encouraged me to sucessfully pursue a Doctorate. I have been active in STEM education of girls, teaching about women’s opportunities in aviation. My sons have been active in RC and amateur radio. They are successful, degreed electrical engineers; passing it onto my granddaughters. I feel that commercial interests such as FedEx and Amazon, etc are driving this so they can buy up our precious airspace.”
