“Flying is currently my social interaction activity. I often go to the local flying field / events even if I am not flying. Regulations beyond requiring membership to a CBO will in all likelihood, not alleviate any concerns with safety. Those instances that have brought safety to the forefront were likely to have been committed by individuals that did not belong to a CBO. My increasing regulations you are “punishing” those that already comply with safe flying habits.”
