“I hve been both model and full sized pilot for over fifty years. Aviation is a mjor part of my life. Due to health and finances, I no longer fly full sized AC so now I only fly models. Modeling fulfills my needs for honing my flying skills, provides a creative and artistic outlet and and has built a wonderful social net for me. I also have participated in educating youngsters on the basics of sucessful and safe operation of RC models. I am presently retired, disabled, and on fixed income. Many of my planes are built of wood nd tissue paper, using the most basic of control sysstems. They pose a threat to no one. Requirements for additionl telemetry, constricting regulations and limited flying sites will make participating in the hobby most difficult.”
