“I build and fly my own multi-rotors with friends, family and at STEM programs at schools. The proposed regulations don’t provide any option to comply by adding remote ID to my existing builds or new builds. I can’t even fly over my own property. Asking people who build their own multi-rotors to register and pay a subscription fee for every build they have, if their were a way to comply would be incredibly expensive. These regulations do not account for the large community and the many businesses built around FPV and would stifle innovation, outlaw responsible builders and shutter businesses that have grown out of this hobby over the last 5 years. There is no risk assessment that shows why these regulations make sense or why they are required.”
