“Hi FAA please don’t take my hobby away I am 45 years old I have been flying RC airplanes and drones since I was seven years old I enjoy building almost as much is flying I have been building planes since I was a little kid started out with Balsawood and Monocote I’ve learned a lot about aviation and everything else mechanical because of this hobby when I got a little older and was a teenager I believe this hobby is one of the few things that kept me out of trouble lots of my friends wanted to go out and do drugs and stuff like that and I enjoyed flying instead I believe I am here today partially because of this hobby. Now I have a 10-year-old son he is the most awesome boy in the world who I got into flying when he was about four years old and he now races FPV Drones and flies planes way better than I ever could I am so proud it would kill me to see his love for that taken away. And I truly don’t know what I would do with my mind when I need it to be in the air I literally go out on a daily basis for my own mental health to fly a few packs just to release the stress of every day. Please FAA Don’t take my hobby away Amazon packages aren’t worth more than our society’s mental health I know there’s a lot of money in it for you guys to give the air to the people that want to be able to deliver stuff but it is not fair and we will fight for it.”
