“I have been flying model aircraft for 7 years now. I moved to a new city with no family and no friends. This hobby has allowed me to meet incredible people and I have made tons of friends. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have stayed in this city if it wasn’t for the local model aircraft community. It is a real part of my life. It helps me cope with the stress of work in a safe and affordable way. I truly love FPV racing in particular. It caters to both my geek/thinkerer nature and competitive nature. I would hate to loose this amazing hobby that has brought and continues to bring so much joy to my life.”
