“I scratch build my multirotors, including cutting my own carbon. I fly LOS acrobatics in my own backyard below treetop level. The idea that I would not be able to fly in my own backyard, while a RID compliant commercial drone would be able to is upsetting. The fact that even if I could make my scratch builds compliant that I would need to pay more than my annual build budget in a data-plan and subscription/registration, just to enjoy my own property is wrong. There should be a provision for personal airspace.”
