“I’m a father of two, I started 6 years ago with electric heli’s and moved into fpv. Flying in remote wooded locations is a relaxing break from the stresses of life. Both my boys are now interested and I’m now collecting parts so they can learn to fly. The proposed rules would limit all my normal flying locations. The only two locations in my area that would be flyable would cost me $225 a year and they are flat grass fields with nothing to see. My parents property on the other hand has 6.7 acres of wooded property with routes I can fly through over and under. Since getting into the hobby I have stayed informed and have followed regulations. I have registered. And after following the rules for years. I’m now going to be pushed out of this hobby and not be able to share it with my boys.
On top of that I have thousands invested in all types and size drones that I won’t be able to fly.”
