“My job is to design and build commercial heavy lift multirotors. Remote ID gets us closer to BVLOS and other things that make the commercial side of things much more effective. As a hobbyist, I build drones to fly FPV. The software and hardware I use at my job is the same that I use for my hobby, and is developed by hobbyists. My job will be able to become Remote ID compliant but the hobbyists who develop everything we use will not be able to, so it will stifle our innovation.”
