“Model aviation is a key component of my life filling my dreams as a child and my free time as an adult. While I agree with the intent to improve the safety of the national air space I am concerned that proposed laws will make model aviation difficult to impossible. I have been a member of the AMA for 34 years and have been to countless AMA flying sites and competitions around the country. My home flying field has relocated at least 6 times during my membership in order to keep a safe flying area in a growing city. the proposed laws will make maintaining, moving or creating new flying sites impossible. Couldn’t flight restrictions be limited to controlled airspace or areas around airports and other sensitive facilities?”
