“Flying helped me to recover from a very serious, life-altering injury. And it remains an outlet for good, clean fun. It offers opportunities to teach teens STEM, and that’s good public outreach for clubs – not to mention what it has to offer those teens receiving the STEM. Only good things come from flying; but like all things, some will abuse it and take it to extremes. Punishing those that follow the rules never accomplishes anything. And those that are causing the trouble don’t care about your rules anyway. The proposed regulation does little to address the real problem.”
