“I have been flying my who life. My father took me to the local park to fly his planes when I was just 2 years old. I now am passing on the joy of learners no to fly with my 4 children. Government intervention will destroy this hobby of not carefully implemented. The flying community should be the main author of rules and regulations with little guidance and direction from the government. Not the other way around. The fact of the matter is you have 1% of people making crazy dangerous choices while flying that cause accidents / personal injury or national security issues. 99% of the real pilots are safe / friendly and self governed causing no problems. They help the community and add value to the sport. Please don’t penalize the good 99% for the misadventures of the foolish 1%. By forcing regulation on all the government will destroy this hobby and take away my constitutional freedom to enjoy this great country.”
