“I FLY with my 14 year old son at local parks, schools and open areas. The nearest flying field is 25 miles away and they do not allow quad filters to fly if there are fixed wing aircraft flying. The fixed wing have priority and there are several there at any time of the week. We fly 1 12″ and 3 ” quads that all weigh under 250grams. They are all flown fpv and kept well below 400′. These regulations would all but make it impossible to continue flying and spending time together while doing so. The “safety” that these rules would provide is negligible at best under our situation and many other people who do the same type of flying.”
