“I am in a wheelchair. At age 58 I discovered this hobby. FPV flying has given me the experience of freedom I had never had before. When coupled with the design and technical aspects of the hobby it has broadened my interests, skills and knowledge. It has made me a happier and more engaged person. The propsed restrictions and regulations are both unneeded and oppressive; furthermore, these regulations are contrary to President Trump’s directive to federal agencies that for each regulation added, two should be removed. Existing Tort law and Criminal law in both state and federal jurisdictions already protect the public from misuse and abuse of our hobby. These regulation are a needless restriction on our personal freedom and an unwarranted intrusion by the government into the lives of law abiding citizens.”
