“I’ve been able to make lifelong connections with people around me and also learned about the function of the world through the physics of flight and structure of my models. I have lifelong friends because of the time we were able to spend connection while designing, testing and enjoying our model aircraft, despite language and cultural barriers. I’m sure fly an architectural engineering student, and while on Coop I apply the knowledge I learned while designing these model aircraft every single day. The process of learning about these model FPV systems and multi rotors has developed my personal design and review process, and as such I have been able to become a resilient, efficient designer. I don’t think that I would be able to engage in my current program in nearly the same way without the opportunity I’ve had to spend time iterating and failing though model aircraft.”
