“As a biology major in my undergrad, I discovered drones and the thrill of flight. I learned everything I could about the basics of engineering, helped start a drone club, and used my newfound hobby to effectively manage stress and make new friends. With these new regulations, I don’t think someone would be able to discover the hobby of building and flying like I did or enjoy seeing your local park and all the places you go from a totally different and awesome perspective. I have enjoyed my two years in the hobby. With the skills I’ve learned, I have taught friends of mine about drones and educated them on safe flying practices while having the time of my life! It has been such a big part of my life and I hope to keep it that way in the future. I have a vision that I would be able to fly through mountains and go places nobody has ever been before through the infinite possibilities FPV has created for me. It truly is a great hobby and an amazing community and I want to preserve it for future generations.”
