“I am a college student currently studying aerospace engineering. I would most likely not be where I am if I did not participate in this hobby. Many of my peers and friends in my degree program are the same. In addition to this, many classes and engineering teams at my school, some of which I am a part of, use scratch built RC aircraft for research and education. The proposed regulations would be a massive setback to the aerospace industry and would damage STEM education activities based on model aviation.”
