“I’ve wanted to fly my whole life. I don’t have much budget for a DJI so I have built a drone myself with a modest camera to capture footage and see via fpv goggles. I fly only in non populated areas where internet is not always available. How am I supposed to establish an internet connection? Or afford these more fancy drones? Registration fees, etc? I capture nature footage and feeling like I’m flying over some beautiful nature areas, not some designated field with numerous other drones…this is the only hobby that lets me feel this. Don’t take it away. Limit it to only commercial drones, stop taking our privacy and squeezing all the money from citizens so that commercial operators can charge more. Let hobbyists who fly in unpopulated areas fly their drones.”
