“My grandpa got me into flying 12 years ago. I held my love for the hobby since then. I enjoy working, fixing and sometimes even just staring at my rc aircraft. My home life isn’t really that great and flying rc is more of an escape from that and even the craziness of society. I could take 5 planes to the field to fly and only fly 2, I’ll still be happy because of the fact that I’m flying. My parents say that they can see me happier when I come home from flying than when I left. Even if I crash, I’m not mad at all, if anything I’m actually sad…I feel bad for the aircraft, but that’s when I fix and work on it and get it back to tip top shape. I have also made a few really great friends through rc flying…if not for the hobby I don’t think I would’ve met them. I love the hobby of rc flying, it’s a part of me that I can’t part with.”
