“I am an aerospace engineer. I chose this field because my Father was in the USAF and introduced me to modeling and aircraft. Growing up I built my own planes and eventually got into radio control. I am 52 yrs old now and have been flying model aviation and drones since I was 12 yrs old. My children are interested in as well and possibly my grand children. My concern is that these regulations would restrict innovation, creativity, and interest in aviation. Especially if you can’t even throw a $10 Walmart chuck glider in your own yard without it being illegal. Seems the regulations are a solution without a problem. Many of us fly because of physical disabilities such as eyes or other FAA medical restrictions. But there is no harm in model aviation. I know several handicapped person in wheelchairs that enjoy FPV and flying model aviation as the closest alternative to being a real pilot. Now that would be taken away for no reason at all. For drone deliveries?”
