“I am a private pilot who also works in the aviation industry. I would likely never have been interested or followed through with my career in aviation if I hadn’t been introduced at an early age to the world of aviation through RC modeling/flying. If there are those out there who would pose safety risks by flying autonomous RC aircraft near airports or in airspace above 400 feet AGL then they should be prosecuted. The rest of the RC hobbyist who fly line of sight and in areas where air safety is not impacted should not be punished by a few irresponsible people.”
