“I fly fpv quadcopters because it is super fun, interesting, and I’ve learned lots of things in the process. I fly in forets spots, parks, abandonned buildings, always choose not to fly in a spot if there’s people or property I could annoy/injure/damage. I always fly close to trees or other obstacles, I’m never a threat to manned aviation because of that. I also fly micro quads, some of them don’t even weigh 100 grams. They carry less energy than a baseball or even a freesbee. Those micros will be banned under the proposed rules, for no benefit. The proposed rules’ objective seems very much to be clearing the airspace from hobbyists so that Amazon and other lobbyists can use it to their purpose. That is not “the land of the free””
